You've
heard that before, but seldom does one contribute to a cause that
works so closely with it's intended beneficiary as we do. We are actually
located in the park, and run the bookstore in the the Betty Dunn Nature Center.
Local education for the area's residents and
interpretive works throughout the park for our many visitors helps
to leave an impact on the environmental awareness of every visitor
through the gates. Your financial support of "Friends" is
directly influencing the average tourist passing through the park
in a meaningful way.
As a
member, your participation is encouraged. You will receive a quarterly
newsletter which will keep you updated on scheduled Friends and park
events, a 20% discount on gift shop items, and various opportunitites
to participate in park activities and projects.
